Madhya Pradesh government has formed DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) in all districts and given liberty to promote tourism in the district. DTPC will be responsible to highlight the places in the district for tourism promotion.

In context to this Bhopal DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) is developing lot of initiative to promote tourism within the district. Bhopal with its enriched biodiversity and beautiful surrounding environmental ambiance has lot of potential to attract domestic and international tourism in the district.

DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) will establish coordination between stake holders such as Tour operators, hotel owners, Travel Agency, Tour Guide, different government departments etc. To promote district tourism DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) will organize Adventure & nature camp, cultural mahotsav, food festival and organizing different competition among youth of the district. DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) will help link local craftsmen with nationwide market. Certification and training of beneficiary and linking them with livelihood. Protect and maintain cultural and archeological heritage of the district. Promote private investors to invest in promotion of district tourism and support them as per state tourism guideline. Event calendar for every year will be shared on DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) website. DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) will run and maintain local tourist locations. Prepare master plan for the promotion of Local tourism and will coordinate and carry forward any assigned activity with M.P.Tourism.
